On the occasion of the development of our new heat pumps with natural refrigerants, we have Technological Institute, commissioned an analysis on the benefits of using natural refrigerants over artificial refrigerants. The articles contain test data, as well as risk analysis for flammable refrigerants.

The large model has been tested to have an efficiency (COP) of 3.52, which is 12 % better than the equivalent HFC model. The small model (with a smaller compressor) has been measured at a COP of 3.20. Both products are in energy class A+ for water heaters.
